The date for the Summer Fête is Saturday 14th July in the garden of 74 Hazelwood Road .

It is being held in conjunction with the twentieth anniversary of a children’s eye cancer charity – CHECT, the Children’s Eye Cancer Trust.  This charity’s aim is to raise awareness of eye cancer in children, for early diagnosis, support families and fund research.  The proceeds of our Fête will be given to this charity.

We shall be entertaining children from the cancer charity and also we are inviting local children to take part.  The highlight will be Quinton Greatrex who will be with us from 1.30 to 2.30 and who will organise a Punch and Judy show and some magic tricks.

There will also be a raffle and a tombola.  There will be a barbeque and teas, coffees and cakes.  There will also be a produce stall.  We shall also have a bouncy castle

As usual, we have various requirements – gazebos (in case of rain or very hot sun), raffle/tombola prizes, cakes and finger foods including bhajis, sausage rolls, samosas etc.
