What we're doing in 2008

Thanks to those who have already donated seeds, plants, money and time this year. We have had some new helpers- Patrick from Poland (who loves cricket) and Sameera from Hazelwood Road. I think you will all agree that the borders are really looking super and we have started to put annuals in the planters and around the trees to brighten the road up. It has been a complete joy for those involved and you will be happy to know that our suggestion to Birmingham City Council to spread this beauty into Acocks Green has been taken up. It is nice to know that we have an effect on the place we live in.

We have also submitted a full report to the Council on the types of alterations and improvements we would like in Acocks Green but should you have any further requirements please let us know.

Some people from Broad Road walked down the other day and said they thought it must it must be the nicest road in Birmingham. Doesn’t that make us proud!
